Scholarship
The CMC has a longstanding tradition of supporting post secondary education within our membership. Since 2015, the CMC has awarded over $200,000 in Scholarships to deserving students in their post secondary studies. Net proceeds from our Biennial Towboat Industry Conference and Tradeshow goes to funding our Scholarship and Bursary program.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our Sponsors, Exhibitors, and Delegates at last year’s conference, we were proud to introduce the Peter Woodward Memorial Scholarship last year. We are pleased to continue offering this scholarship again this year. It is open to all BC residents pursuing post-secondary education in a marine-related field at a recognized institution in Canada
